day as a guy

so, my university cluster is playing this "gotcha" game. at the beginning everybody is given a sheet with somebody's else's name in the cluster by my ta (teaching advisor). the point of the game is to catch whoever's name you got. BUT it can only be done when nobody else in the cluster is around and you are all alone with the person...aannnd the cluster hall is the safe zone, so nobody can be tagged there

the game started this monday, so by today thursday, there isn't much people left(2/3rd?), but everybody's getting competitive, and shirley is in much great danger of being caught...

so...shirley comes up with a brilliant idea on wednesday, tomorrow i shall go into disguise! as a guy!

although it seems quite simple, it is no easy feat. on thursday morning, my outfit consists of (semi)baggy jeans, sweater, vest, different backpack (my one shoulder one) and a hat gotten from roommate. vest because it's different from my usual jacket and same reason for the backpack...

so begins my day (which actually only consists of only one class). off to my one and only class of the day physics...arrive just on time (all going according as planned, since arriving early would allow other ppl to spot me being alone and "catch" me). shirley walks into class, walk halfway up the stairs (classroom set up as auditorium), walk halfway into the aisle and sat down(very manly) beside two empty seats...

shirley pulls out her binder thinking to herself (heh heh, all going well, nobody can recognize me now), theeeennn she pulls out her pencil case, and realizes its pink and has hello-kitty print all over it...=.=
(devil voice goes sarcastically inside shirley's head "o, that's very guyish", angel voice goes "what? i can be a gay guy...")
......and class begins
