happy 250th

it seems as i grow older, i start appreciating classical music more and more, i've never hated it, just always preferred the modern new artists better. but now for me there's something about classical music that tugs at your heart and make you like it. it's so calming and gentle, makes you want to sit down and read love poems.

anybody that wanna give classical music a try could go to 96.3 fm, i like the stuff they play, and they always give a little bit background as to the music they're playing. if nothing else you can always woo people with some classical music knowledge.

side note, yesterday was mozart's 250th birthday, and there's celebrations all over the world. you know you're great when people start celebrating your 250th birthday =.= too bad he's already dead. hell we don't even celebrate britney spear's birthday (ok, bad example). but whatever, to survive through 250 years, that's really something.

btw, classical's not as old and boring as you think, song really popular in taiwan took some of it's background music from mozart's symphony #40. and i would say the group that sang the song would be the equal of destiny's child in north america. pretty cool, i think.
