late birthday post

so, 4 year ago around my birthday, i believe i did a birthday post :p
it's hard to believe, this blog is 4 years old, so strange, i know i don't write often, but whatever

this birthday has been awesome! usually i don't celebrate on my birthday, no parties or anything, just usually get a cake and eat it with some friends. this year...it's my 19th! so, have to go out and drink :p well, it's not have to, but usually people do. so of course, being so easy to peer-pressure, i went for alcolhol too. ^^y

L and S took me out on the special day, first we went for dinner at the pickle barrel. they have good food, and it's not a extremely fancy place, so lots of young people, but it is slightly more expensive then what i would usually go to. i'd say it's a good place to go with friends every once in a while. they got a variety of food, from grill, pasta, stir-fry to seafood. and they had some interesting stuff, meaning things i never heard of...but that's not very strange. i think what's strange is combination of chinese food with canadian food, like "asian nachos" wanted to get it, but would not be able to finish it, so maybe another time

we took long to decide, and the food took even longer to come. but it was worth it :p
during that time, caught up with L and S, and learned about S's childhood embarrassing stories. muahaha black mail...
also saw two high school friends, of all the places, we weren't even near home!

after dinner, we went to a jazz bar L recommended, very crowded when we got in. but cleared out pretty soon, cause we walked in when the live was ending :P got a table, sat down and got some drinks hehe

our waitress was super nice and pretty. she recommended some drinks for us losers, who don't really know what to order XD or maybe it was just me (yup probably is) anyways, that's not the point. first drinks of the night... me: fuzzy navel (peach schnapps), L: some lemonade thing? i think? S: sex on the beach (it was good, hot and wet XD) anyways, my was my favourite, it tasted like peach juice! just sweeter, i couldn't taste the alcohol, but the other two could. hmmm L and S's drinks were good too, though i couldn't tell as much what they were... well one was lemonade thing? i think or ice tea...hmmm i really don't know, it was good though! sex on the beach was nice too, sweet with a sour tinge hehehe. ok, who names a drink that, like comeon!

anyways, i also got a birthday shot on the house, dunno what it was but it had whip cream on it, and tasted like vodka. the second drinks we got weren't as exciting. i got molson canadian beer, tasted like pop gone wrong, haha, but it was ok after the first two sips. still not use to beer yet. L got sex on the beach (she musta really liked it ), and S got white russian, it was good, but he didn't last very long for her...anyways, before S could get up and go get another white russian or whatever else she planned on getting. two guys sat down and was like hi...and i think we were all a bit shocked. (for anyone that knows us, we are not the kind of girl guys pick up. not that we're ugly or anything, but i dunno, especially all three of us together...) anyways, those guys bought us two more rounds of sex on the beach. (geez, we must really like that one...=.=) and we started talking about random stuff. (more like L talking and me spacing out and S laughing) i just realize now, what weird conversation we had, politics? french? french wine?! something about psycology? eh?eh?eh? haha, whatever they left shortly after L went to the washroom, which is why i think they just wanted to talk to her :p puhehe

so we decide to get home too. walked to the station, then took subway, then walked 30min home. which was amusing i would have to say. with me and L strutting in our high heels down the road at 1:30 am. and every once in a while her stumbling. S was perfectly fine...she needs more alcohol...

stayed up and talked till 4am about random gossips and boys are stupid :p
