black kitten

Im going to tell you this story of a one eye kitten we fostered a few weeks ago, this kitten is the sweetest kitty ever,total lap cat.but it has one eye that looks like it is ulcerated and the third eyelid looks dried out on top of it!eek! we thought we would never find a home for it cause one it’s black, and two it may have to get its eye removed.anyways,we put ads up online,kijiji,cannon,etc.one day this women called & inquired about it as a xmas present for her little boy (5). They previously had a black kitten die b/c of urinary tract infection (humane society mixed up and gave them the wrong kitten,eek!) she called,talked to her husband and called again and said they have a plan. They were going to a xmas festival in kitchener,so she’s going to give the santa a “map” to give to her boy and on the map is a picture of a kitten w/ one eye & our address on it. “I wonder what it is, I guess we better follow it” she said to her little boy.so they come to our house and rang the doorbell, and asked my roommate,”we have this map with a kitten with one eye on it, do you have any idea what it means?” and my roommate would answer “that’s funny, I have a kitten with one bad eye!” so they would go home w/ a black kitten w/ a bad eye, and they named him pirate.
