WOW, what a day!!

just got back from working the election as an information officer *cool title^^* and it is now, 1:45am, lol, better start from the beginning...

woke up quite early, around 6:30ish, made lunch!!, hehe for me and my brother, wow first time in quite a while i packed a lunch... anyways, got on the bus, and realized that i packed a lunch, but didn't eat breakfast -___-'', shirley's stupid........

but yeah.....got downtown alright, think it was rush hour so the subway was a bit cramped, and got stuck between these two guys that thinks hooking up with girls are fun ^^ needless to say, i wasn't too bored on the subway, i know i'm not suppose to listen in on other ppl's conversation, but can't help it if they talk right beside your ears......

got to work and it was soooo boring, if anybody ever works the election, bring TWO books!! *one wasn't really enough*, my partner was this cool grade nine *hehe, an oxymoron!!*, had fun working with him...

honestly though, if i were able to vote, i probably wouldn't go... cause you'd have to worry if your at the right station or not, *a lot of ppl came in and was frustrated cause they're at the wrong polling station, one even yelled at us, calling us stupid idiots >.< *, but yeah, it's not anybody's fault, and i don't blame them if they just go home without voting, cause apparently this is their second time at the wrong place, geez, the government should set up a vote-on-line thingy......be convenient, especially for the elderly, which is the majority of the voters at my polling station today...., sorta odd, always thought the ppl deciding where the direction of canada is going is suppose to be young ppl, but i dunno.......

after 9:30 when the station closes, they started counting the votes, and me and my partner had nothing to do, so went around causing problem to everyone :p, actually i went looking to see what kind of party there was...... some sorta odd ones were, the marijuana party, marcis-lenis *probably wrong* but they're a communist party, and of course the communist party...there's also the green party, which did pretty well, tying with the ndp for one of the riding ^^, but the liberals won and the conservatives following, fun to see the votes being counted though, not as formal as i thought :p.......

yeah, after finishing up at the polling station, we went to this place *the central station* to help unload the ballots from the cars that arrive from the different polling station.....it was odd.., cause the place where the unloading takes place is in this dark alley way, that's.......dark.....and secretive, felt like we were doing something illegal, which is weird cause the ballots ARE for the federal election......one of the most important events in this country and it's all taking place in some dark alley way!!...makes you sorta wonder at this country's future :p.....and it stank too, cause there's a dumpster at the place as well :S, once again, this whole election baffles me, or the process anyways......

that's pretty much my day, got a ride home from meagan^^ she's so nice, don't even know me that well :p.....now i'm going to post this on aa hehehe^^
